Your vessel's master must give 48 hours' notice of reaching New Zealand. This is to inform the NZ Customs Service and MAFBNZ Clearance of the yacht's port of entry and time of arrival. All yachts are required to berth at the MAFBNZ approved berth for the Port.
When nearing New Zealand contact can be made by calling Maritime Radio on 4125 kHz or 6215Khs or VHF Ch 16. On receipt of the advice or any changes Customs and Clearance officials will be contacted with the expected time of arrival.
